Recently,China Energy Construction Gezhouba Group and Kuwait Housing and Welfare Agency signed contracts for two infrastructure projects,T-1253 and T-1402 in Kuwait Nam Saad Abdullah New City, with a total amount of US$557 million,or approximately RMB 4.066 billion.

The two projects signed this time are the subsequent sections of the Abdullah New City project under implementation by China Energy Construction, covering a total area of about 25 square kilometers.The construction content includes the construction of infrastructure such as yard leveling,block roads,various pipeline networks,substations,irrigation pools and pumping stations in the area.

It is reported that the South Saad Abdullah New City project is a key livelihood project deployed by the Kuwait government under the guidance of its"2035 Development Vision".It covers a total area of about 64 square kilometers.About 23,000 housing units and corresponding supporting facilities have been planned in the area,which can accommodate at least 150,000 people after completion.
