16 billion! The tallest building in Xinjiang, China!

Located in the high-speed rail area of the Urumqi Economic and Technological Development Zone, the 288-meter-tall building is currently the tallest building in Xinjiang. It is an important project of Baoneng Group in the northwest layout, with an investment of 16 billion yuan and a total area of 1,786,800 square meters, including super high-rise office buildings, shopping malls and five-star hotels, which has been attracting everyone's attention since the start of construction in 2014.

In November 2020, the main body of the building was capped, and the tallest building was 288 meters, setting a new building height record in Xinjiang.

In May 2025, the project will fully resume work, and now it is mainly engaged in the construction of the exterior curtain wall of the commercial mall and two super high-rise office buildings, as well as the roof lighting roof, and is also doing safety inspection and design optimization. Now the construction elevator and exterior curtain wall works are progressing steadily.

The architectural design is designed by the Beijing Institute of Architectural Design and Research, integrating modern business aesthetics with sustainable concepts. The façade is made of double silver LOW-E glass curtain wall, which not only achieves a 360° panoramic view, but also effectively blocks ultraviolet rays and heat transfer through the coating process, reducing energy consumption.

The all-steel structure system uses 36,000 tons of steel, with steel plates up to 10 centimeters thick on the bottom layer and a maximum weight of 28 tons for a single column, taking into account both seismic resistance and durability. The first of its kind in Xinjiang is designed with a double lobby with a ceiling height of about 12 meters, and the hardcover stone and modern lighting create a sense of business ceremony. In addition, the project is equipped with a 4m/s high-speed elevator, a full-coverage fresh air system and constant temperature and humidity environmental control to build a green and efficient office ecology.

The location advantage gives the project strategic value. It is located in the core area of the high-speed railway, with 10 minutes to Urumqi Station, 30 minutes to Tianshan Airport, Metro Line 2 and a number of bus lines to form a three-dimensional transportation network, helping enterprises to efficiently link global resources.

As an important carrier of the Urumqi Area of the Pilot Free Trade Zone, the project enjoys policy dividends such as customs clearance facilitation, tax incentives, and financial innovation, attracting international trade, modern logistics and other industries.
