Munich, May 7, 2025 — During the 2025 Smarter E Europe, Chinese new energy enterprise CORNEX signed a five-year strategic agreement with UK-based Immersa, with a maximum collaboration scale of 2.5GWh. Centered on CORNEX’s 5MWh M5 battery energy storage container, the partnership covers product supply, project development, and after-sales services to accelerate the commercialization of technological innovations in global markets.

On May 7, CORNEX President Huang Feng and Immersa CEO Robert Miles LLB formalized the agreement at the Expo. The cooperation targets energy storage projects ranging from 1.25GWh to 2.5GWh, aiming to build a strategic alliance in Europe and global markets to support grid peak load regulation and renewable energy integration. As a key UK energy transition player, Immersa will collaborate with CORNEX to advance Europe’s decarbonization goals through resource sharing.

The full-scenario energy storage portfolio of CORNEX drew significant attention, featuring:

1. 472Ah Ultra-Large Battery Cell: Single-cell capacity of 1,510.4Wh, energy density of 195Wh/kg, and cycle life exceeding 12,000 cycles. Leveraging mature manufacturing processes, mass production is set to begin in June 2025.

2. 6.28MWh CORNEX M6 Energy Storage Container: Designed for long-duration storage (4+ hours), it integrates an optional Submerge 2.0 Safety System that boosts cooling efficiency by 75% through grid-based precision temperature control, meeting Europe’s high safety standards.

3. Europe-Customized Upgrades: The “Ultra-Long Cycle Life Solution” (15,000 cycles, zero degradation over five years) and “High-Temperature Equivalent Performance Solution” (30°C-35°C performance matching 25°C benchmarks) reduce lifecycle operational costs.

CORNEX has established five service centers and two logistics hubs across Europe, creating a localized R&D-to-after-sales ecosystem. Over the past two years, partnerships with Ever Energy, YN Energy, Bison Energy, and others have expanded its global footprint. This agreement further strengthens its strategic role in Europe’s energy transition, providing technical support for achieving “synchronized PV-storage lifecycle” goals.
