The construction project of a 4 billion ampere hour quantum chip solid-state battery production line and industrial park with a total investment of 4.8 billion yuan has recently been officially signed and implemented in Xuwen County, Zhanjiang, Guangdong Province. Although the investor South China Qiguang was established on November 5, 2025 with a registered capital of only 50 million yuan and is a sole proprietorship of natural persons, its core team has a deep accumulation in the research and industrialization of emerging energy technologies. The company's business covers research and development of new material technology, energy storage technology services, battery manufacturing, new energy vehicle support, and quantum computing technology services, positioning itself as a technology driven new energy enterprise.

The signing of the 4.8 billion yuan project is a crucial step for South China Qiguang to move from technological reserves to large-scale production. After completion, the project will become a leading solid-state battery production base in western Guangdong, expected to drive upstream and downstream supporting investment of over 10 billion yuan and create 3000-5000 job opportunities. In terms of energy storage business layout, the company takes solid-state batteries as the core carrier, synchronously expanding three major scenarios of grid side energy storage, industrial and commercial energy storage, and new energy supporting energy storage.
