During the 2025.4.25-2025.5.2 Shanghai Auto Show, Dongfeng Motor signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Universal Motors Agencies (UMA) of Saudi Arabia to build the Saudi market into a core strategic hub for Dongfeng to go overseas in the Middle East and an important fulcrum for radiating the six Gulf countries.
Based on the framework of the strategic procurement agreement between China and Saudi Arabia, the two sides will build a strategic alliance of "capital + technology + market". Dongfeng Motor has not only reached a strategic purchase agreement with UMA for nearly 10,000 units, but will also provide "Dongfeng Solution" for UMA in the fields of product innovation, service support and marketing transformation. In 2025, Dongfeng Motor will join hands with UMA to launch exclusive models suitable for Saudi consumers and form a regional benchmark product matrix. At the same time, it helps UMA improve lead collection, sorting and sales conversion rate, build an omni-channel marketing matrix, and set a new benchmark for automotive channel operation in the Middle East.
Dongfeng Motor said that in the future, it will rely on the advantages of the whole value chain such as R&D and manufacturing, and build an integrated platform of "automobile + insurance + finance" to provide innovative, reliable and high-quality products and services for the Saudi market and people.
