On the morning of May 6, the first reforming furnace of the gasification unit of the 500,000-ton green methanol project (250,000 tons in the first phase) of Inner Mongolia Goldwind Green Energy Chemical (Xing'an League) Co., Ltd., which was constructed by Shaanxi Chemical Construction Engineering Co., Ltd., was precisely installed in place within the framework.

As one of the important equipment of the vaporization device of the project, the hoisting reformer weighs more than 150 tons, the installation elevation is 27 meters, and the specification size is Φ3680×25669.

On April 30, 2025, two Zemak biomass fixed-bed slag gasifiers (the inner diameter of the gasifier is 3.6 meters, the design pressure is 30 kg) were manufactured and sent to the site of Goldwind's 200,000-ton green methanol project.

Goldwind Xing'an League's 500,000-ton green methanol project plans to invest a total of 13.665 billion yuan, build a wind power scale of 2 million kilowatts, and build biomass power generation devices, biomass gasification and other devices, with an annual output of 500,000 tons of green methanol after completion. The project will be constructed in two phases, of which the first phase will be 250,000 tons/year, which will officially start in April 2024 and is expected to be put into operation in September this year. The planned annual hydrogen production capacity of the project is 92,200 tons, the annual hydrogen production of the first phase is 46,100 tons, and the actual hydrogen production capacity of the first phase is 35,000Nm3/h.

On April 21, Goldwind Green Energy Chemical (Xing'an League) Co., Ltd. announced the results of the general contracting of the construction of the 500,000-ton green methanol project (250,000 tons in the first phase) in the front area of the plant. On April 15, Goldwind's green hydrogen to 500,000 tons of green methanol project ushered in an important node, and the core device of the project and the key equipment for syngas preparation - biomass gasifier was hoisted. It marks that the construction of the project has entered the stage of equipment installation.

Goldwind Green Energy Chemical (Xing'an League) adopts the gasification technology of Fupeng furnace, which is not ready, the gasification pressure is 3.0MpaG, the total gas volume is 70,000Nm3/h (CO+H2), and only one gasifier is enough to meet the gasification capacity of 250,000 tons of methanol per year.
