China Power Construction leads the bid for multiple hydropower projects

In the Song County area of Luoyang City, Henan Province, China Water Resources and Hydropower Fourth Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd. won the bid for the construction of the upper reservoir with 463 million yuan, while China Energy Group First Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd. undertook the construction of the lower reservoir with 825 million yuan. The water diversion system and underground powerhouse are respectively managed by China Railway 11th Bureau Group Co., Ltd. (745 million yuan), China Water Resources and Hydropower Seventh Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd. (970 million yuan), China Railway Third Bureau Group Co., Ltd. (616 million yuan), and China Railway 18th Bureau Group Co., Ltd. (438 million yuan).

The Anhua County project in Yiyang City, Hunan Province is undertaken by China Railway 11th Bureau Group Co., Ltd. for the construction of the water diversion system (745 million yuan), while China Water Resources and Hydropower Seventh Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd. is responsible for the construction of the underground powerhouse and tailwater system (970 million yuan). In terms of mechanical and electrical installation engineering, the Fengxin County project in Yichun City, Jiangxi Province was jointly implemented by China Water Resources and Hydropower Eighth Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd., China Power Construction Group Henan Engineering Co., Ltd., and China Water Resources and Hydropower Tenth Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd. (280 million yuan). The Yumen City project in Jiuquan City, Gansu Province was won by China Water Resources and Hydropower Fifth Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd. (335 million yuan), and the Hunyuan County project in Datong City, Shanxi Province was constructed by China Gezhouba Group Mechanical and Electrical Construction Co., Ltd. (288 million yuan).

In addition, the housing construction project was implemented by China Construction Second Engineering Bureau (Liziwan project in Chongqing, RMB 55.017 million) and Jilin North Construction Co., Ltd. of Jihua Group (Yumen project in Gansu Province, RMB 44.907 million) respectively. The engineering quality inspection and safety monitoring services are provided with technical support by Zhengzhou Guodian Machinery Design and Research Institute Co., Ltd. (Metal Testing and Inspection in Xingcheng City, Huludao City, Liaoning Province, RMB 4.88 million), China Power Construction Group Beijing Survey and Design Institute Co., Ltd. (Monitoring Services in Tonglu County, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, RMB 11.523 million), China Power Construction Group Zhongnan Survey and Design Institute Co., Ltd. (Monitoring Services in Miluo City, Yueyang City, Hunan Province, RMB 11.402 million), and Yellow River Survey, Planning, Design and Research Institute Co., Ltd. (Monitoring Services in Song County, Henan Province, RMB 12.325 million).The winning project covers many provinces in central and western China, involving reservoir construction, water diversion system, electromechanical installation and other key areas, demonstrating the comprehensive strength of China's hydropower construction enterprises, will further promote the interconnection of energy infrastructure along the the Belt and Road, and provide a solid guarantee for the implementation of the national clean energy strategy.
