On July 29, 2025, China Chemical Engineering Group Co., Ltd.'s subsidiary, China Chemical Engineering Seventh Construction Co., Ltd., signed the world's largest green ammonia project cooperation agreement with Namibia's Haifen Hydrogen Energy Company in Beijing. According to the agreement, China Chemical Engineering Seventh Construction Co., Ltd. will undertake the FEED+EPC general contracting work for the annual production of 2.4 million tons of green ammonia plant at Haifen Hydrogen Energy in Namibia. After completion, this project will become the world's largest green ammonia production base, marking a significant breakthrough for Chinese enterprises in the field of global green energy engineering construction.
