Ganzhou International Dry Port is about to usher in a major infrastructure upgrade! On August 6, the Ganzhou International Land-Port Logistics Collection and Distribution Integrated Logistics Improvement Project was officially announced, with a total investment of 2.101 billion yuan, and is scheduled to start construction in November 2025 and be fully completed in October 2027. The project is implemented by Ganzhou Nankang District Port Development Co., Ltd., and the funds will be solved through enterprise self-financing and bank loans, without involving financial allocation.

As an important logistics hub in southern Jiangxi, this upgrade will focus on improving the functional layout of the port and improving the efficiency of logistics collection and distribution. The project will build a new 2.1-kilometer district-port linkage channel between the railway loading and unloading operation area and the bonded zone, and simultaneously build key facilities such as highway cargo dumping and unloading center, container pick-up and return center, freight dispatch center, etc., and at the same time renovate the timber supervision warehouse, cross-border e-commerce supervision center and international express supervision center to comprehensively improve the port operation capacity.

In addition, the project will also promote the construction of the second phase of the import and export processing industrial park, add more than 120,000 square meters of logistics warehousing and standard workshops, and support parallel imported vehicle parking areas and surrounding road networks to further strengthen the industrial agglomeration effect. The existing warehouses and storage yards will also usher in systematic transformation, covering all-round upgrades such as building façade, fire protection, ventilation, and electricity to ensure that the facilities are modern and efficient.

In order to optimize the collection and distribution system, the project will build five new main roads, including Gangfeng Road, Gangtai Road and Xiangyang Avenue, with a total length of 10.6 kilometers, greatly improving the traffic connection capacity between the port and the surrounding areas.

This upgrade marks the Ganzhou International Dry Port towards an intelligent and intensive logistics hub, which will not only consolidate its position as a commercial and trade service-oriented national logistics hub, but also provide strong support for Ganzhou's deep integration into the construction of the Belt and Road.
