The project is built in two phases, with an investment of 3.95 billion yuan in the first phase, which is scheduled to start construction in October this year and be put into operation in April 2027, with an estimated annual output value of 7.5 billion yuan and an annual tax revenue of 800 million yuan, driving employment of 1,000 people.

The first phase of the project will focus on the production of high value-added fluoropolymer monomers and high-end polymers, supporting the construction of 300,000 tons/year caustic soda plant and 100,000 tons/year methane chloride plant. The second phase plans to invest more than 3 billion yuan to extend the downstream development of high-end fluorine-containing coatings, special fluorine-containing cable materials and other high value-added products.

As a leading enterprise in the field of fluorine chemical industry in China, Nantong Donggang Chemical has 23 national patents, and its self-developed project of "synthesis of perfluoropolyether by electrolysis" has won the Jiangsu Science and Technology Progress Award. The project will give full play to the company's technical advantages in the research and development and production of fluorine-containing chemicals, and create a whole industrial chain layout from basic raw materials to downstream applications.
