Guinea's Ministry of Infrastructure and Public Works officially announced the launch of two major infrastructure projects on August 13, with a total investment of more than US$50 million. These two projects will significantly improve domestic transportation and promote regional trade.

The transnational road project will connect Guinea and Mali from Rabe via Mali to Kédougou-Fongolembi, with financing of approximately US$30 million from the African Development Bank. The project is expected to reduce regional transport costs by 30% and greatly promote trade and economic integration in the West African subregion.

The first phase of the Enco5 overpass construction project in the capital Conakry was launched at the same time, with a total budget of US$20.7 million, of which US$12.8 million was provided by the Kuwait Arab Economic Development Fund. The overpass will effectively alleviate the growing traffic congestion problem in Conakry and significantly shorten the travel time for citizens.

Guinea's Minister of Infrastructure and Public Works said that in the context of the current accelerated economic development, the government is vigorously strengthening infrastructure construction, aiming to create a modern road network that matches the economic potential. These projects will not only open up closed areas and improve traffic conditions, but also inject new impetus into regional economic development.

Analysts pointed out that the implementation of these two major projects marks a new stage in Guinea's infrastructure construction, which not only meets domestic transportation needs, but also strengthens connectivity with neighboring countries, which is of great significance to promoting regional economic integration. After the completion of the project, it will effectively enhance Guinea's status as a transportation hub in West Africa.(This article is from the official website of Jiandao www.seetao.com it must not be reproduced without permission, otherwise it will be investigated, please indicate the reprint of Jiandao.com + original link) See the editor of the infrastructure engineering column of Jiandao.com/Gao Xue
