Recently, China General Nuclear Power (Inner Mongolia) New Energy Investment Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China General Nuclear Power Group, completed a major capital operation. Through its public listing on the Beijing Property Rights Exchange, the company successfully introduced six strategic investors including ICBC Financial Asset Investment Co., Ltd. and Agricultural Bank of China Financial Asset Investment Co., Ltd., raising a total of 11.8 billion yuan in equity funds. This capital increase not only became the largest equity financing case at the provincial level of a Chinese energy state-owned enterprise in the past five years, but also broke the record for the highest single strategic investment in the new energy field in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.

As an important capital operation platform in China, the Beijing Property Rights Exchange has accumulated over 170 billion yuan in financing for the clean energy industry in the past five years. Among them, the transaction scale of the cooperation project with China General Nuclear Power Group reached 48 billion yuan. It is reported that the 11.8 billion yuan raised this time will be fully used for the development and construction of clean energy projects such as wind power, photovoltaic power generation, and energy storage, providing strong financial support for the energy structure transformation of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.

As one of the earliest regions for the group to carry out new energy business, as of the end of 2024, the installed capacity of new energy in operation in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region has reached 7.8 million kilowatts, achieving full coverage of 12 league city projects in the region. In recent years, China General Nuclear Power Corporation has significantly accelerated its investment in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, landing multiple landmark projects including the Xing'an League 3 million kilowatt wind power base, Chifeng City 1 million kilowatt clean energy base, and the Khorchin wind and sand control and integrated wind and solar projects. With the continuous advancement of these projects, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region has become the largest region for China General Nuclear Power Group's new energy business.

The latest data shows that as of the end of July 2025, the installed capacity in operation in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region has approached 8 million kilowatts. According to the development plan, by the end of 2025, the installed capacity of the region will historically exceed 10 million kilowatts.

In the strategic map of China General Nuclear Power Group, the development momentum of domestic new energy business is strong. As of the end of July 2025, the installed capacity of new energy in operation within the group has exceeded 58 million kilowatts. According to the plan, by the end of 2025, this number will exceed 70 million kilowatts, achieving the strategic goal of doubling the installed capacity in three years from 2022.

The successful introduction of this billion dollar strategic investment not only demonstrates the confidence of the capital market in the development prospects of China General Nuclear Power Group's new energy business, but also injects new development momentum into the clean energy transformation of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and even northern China. With the continuous promotion of the dual carbon target, China General Nuclear Power Group's layout in the field of new energy will be further deepened, making greater contributions to the optimization of China's energy structure and green development.
