As of the end of July 2025, the transportation system in Hebei Province has completed an investment of 73.46 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 4.9%, and the investment amount has reached a new historical high for the same period.

The relevant person in charge of the Transport Department of Hebei Province stated that they plan to invest 116 billion yuan this year to promote 149 key projects, with a focus on the goal of exceeding 9000 kilometers of completed highways. To this end, organize mobilization meetings and promotion meetings to accelerate the construction of transportation projects, and carry out actions such as the "Project Tackle Month". In terms of financial security, we have secured 14.379 billion yuan in central funds this year, which is 139% of last year's total, providing solid support for accelerating project construction.

The progress of the Jingxiong Expressway Phase II project is significant. As an important and improved section of the road network in the "Four Verticals and Three Horizontals" of Xiong'an New Area and the "Five Verticals and Two Horizontals" of Daxing International Airport, this project has a total length of 12.5 kilometers and will achieve direct connection between the Beijing Hong Kong Macao Expressway and Daxing International Airport after completion. At present, all culvert projects along the entire line have been completed, with beam and slab prefabrication progress exceeding 75% and installation progress exceeding half. The construction of the upper structure of the bridge is accelerating. The proportion of bridges in the project is nearly 70%. In order to ensure the construction progress, the project party has built a smart beam and slab production line to achieve integrated and intelligent control of processes such as steel bar production, installation, concrete pouring, and maintenance. The efficiency of beam production has been more than doubled compared to traditional production lines. At the same time, the Provincial Department of Transport actively seeks 2.282 billion yuan in vehicle purchase tax funds, making this project the highway project in Hebei Province with the highest share of central subsidy funds currently sought.

While the highway network continues to be encrypted, effective investment in ports in Hebei Province is also constantly expanding. As the largest coal discharge port in China, Huanghua Port has made smooth progress in the fifth phase of its coal port area project. After completion, this project will become an important component of the national energy transportation system, including facilities such as car dumping machines, coal storage silos, and coal loading berths. The designed annual throughput capacity is 53.1 million tons, with a total investment of 4.898 billion yuan. This year, the planned investment is 1.005 billion yuan.

Hebei Province has taken multiple measures in the field of transportation infrastructure construction, such as clarifying goals, strengthening financial support, and promoting key projects, to continuously promote innovative transportation investment and inject strong impetus into regional economic development and transportation network improvement.
