Recently, China Railway Construction Corporation (CRCC) released a major project award announcement, focusing on winning 14 key projects with a single value of over 1.5 billion yuan, covering domestic high-speed rail, expressway, ordinary railway renovation, municipal supporting and overseas infrastructure projects, with a total value of 63.037 billion yuan, accounting for 5.91% of the company's audited operating income in 2024, demonstrating its core competitiveness in the domestic and international infrastructure field.

1、 Domestic key projects: focus on upgrading transportation networks and supporting urban infrastructure

In this bid winning project, domestic engineering accounts for over 70%, with a focus on the construction of national level transportation arteries and regional development needs

In the field of high-speed rail, with the new Changsha Ganzhou high-speed railway as the core, subsidiaries such as China Railway 11th Bureau, China Railway 16th Bureau, and China Railway 20th Bureau have won multiple bids for the Hunan section, Yunnan Guizhou Xiamen connecting line, and Jiangxi section, with a total amount of 16.152 billion yuan and a construction period of 1826 calendar days (about 5 years). After the completion of the project, it will further improve the high-speed rail network in central and southern China, shorten the travel time from Changsha to Ganzhou to within 1.5 hours, and help promote the coordinated development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt and the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area.

In the field of ordinary railways and highways, the expansion and renovation project of the Linhe Ejina section of the Linha Railway (3.432 billion yuan) and the renovation project of the Fuyu Nenjiang Jiagedaqi Railway (1.536 billion yuan) will improve the efficiency of freight and passenger transportation in the northern region; The G92 Hangzhou Bay Ring Expressway Ningbo Zhoushan section, G2531 Hangzhou Chunkai Expressway Hangzhou section and other two expressway projects (totaling 5.732 billion yuan) will strengthen the interconnection of the Yangtze River Delta regional road network and alleviate cross bay traffic pressure.

 Municipal and supporting fields: Nanjing Shangyuanmen Cross River Passage and Nanjing North Station Supporting Project (4.93 billion yuan), Beijing Tianjin Binhai New Area Railway Tianjin Airport Station Building Project (1.58 billion yuan) and other projects, focusing on the construction of urban transportation hubs, will enhance the comprehensive transportation service capabilities of core cities; The second phase of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou) project (3.861 billion yuan) provides high-quality infrastructure support for the development of higher education.

In terms of overseas projects, China Railway Construction won two super large projects this time, with a total amount of 16.963 billion yuan, and continued to consolidate the market advantages along the "the Belt and Road":

The infrastructure relocation project of King's University of Saudi Arabia: China Railway Construction and China Railway Construction jointly won the bid, with a total amount of 8.112 billion yuan and a construction period of 1000 calendar days. The project will provide key support for the upgrading of Saudi Arabia's higher education infrastructure and is another landmark project undertaken by China Railway Construction in the Middle East region.

Tanzan Railway Activation Project: China Civil Engineering and other parties won the bid, with a total amount of 8.851 billion yuan and a construction period of about 3 years. As a landmark project of the friendship between China, Tanzania, and Zambia, this activation and renovation will increase railway capacity to 10 million tons per year, helping Tanzania and Zambia export mineral resources and promote regional economic integration.
