Recently, the bidding for the construction drawing design and general contracting of Section A of the Zigong Luzhou Port Highway Project Phase III has been successfully completed, and the winning bid has been officially announced. This important progress marks that the project is about to enter the substantive construction stage, which has profound significance for improving the regional transportation network, enhancing logistics efficiency, and serving local economic and social development.
The project is located in Da'an District, Gongjing District, and Ziliujing District of Zigong City, and consists of two main sections. The starting point of the first section is the back door of Dongguo Factory (Datang Mountain), and the ending point is the G348 level crossing (Caoxuetang), with a total length of 10.8 kilometers; The starting point of the second section is the G348 level crossing (Caoxuetang), and the ending point is the Lezi Expressway Zijing Connection Line, with a total length of 10.34 kilometers. The project is constructed according to the technical standards of two-way four lane first-class highway, with a design speed of 80km/h and a subgrade width of 22.5m. It is worth mentioning that in order to meet the demand for large-scale transportation from Zigong to Luzhou, half of the project adopts a 1000 ton level load calculation, fully reflecting the forward-looking and practicality of the project design.

After strict evaluation, the A1 section was awarded to Sichuan Chuanjiao Road and Bridge Co., Ltd. for 500647792 yuan, with China Railway 18th Bureau Group Co., Ltd. and China Communications Road and Bridge Construction Co., Ltd. ranking second and third respectively. The A2 section was awarded to China 19th Metallurgical Group Co., Ltd. for 461203697 yuan, with China Railway 11th Bureau Group Co., Ltd. and MCC Communications Construction Group Co., Ltd. ranking second and third respectively.
After the completion of the project, it will effectively connect Zigong and Luzhou Port, greatly improve the efficiency of cargo transportation, optimize regional transportation layout, and inject new impetus into the development of industries and improvement of people's livelihoods in the areas along the route.
