Recently, Pingluo County, Shizuishan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, took a solid step forward in promoting the development of green energy. The groundbreaking ceremony of the 50MW photovoltaic power generation project of Pingluo County Deqi Photovoltaic Technology Co., Ltd. in Hongyazi Green Power Park was held grandly in Hongyazi Township. The launch of this major project not only marks a new stage in the development of the local new energy industry, but also injects green momentum into the optimization of regional energy structure and high-quality economic development.

It is reported that the project covers an area of 1968 acres and has a total installed capacity of 50MW. The project adopts an advanced 15 square array layout design, and synchronously builds a 35 kV switch station and a 14 kilometer external transmission line to ensure that green electricity can be efficiently and stably connected to the power grid and transmitted to thousands of households.

The preparation work for the project has been carried out in an orderly manner before. According to public information, Deqi Photovoltaic Technology Co., Ltd. in Pingluo County released the EPC general contracting bidding announcement for the project on September 24th. Just four days later, the project issued a change announcement, which corrected and refined some of the overview in the original bidding documents, reflecting the rigor of project planning and management.

It is worth noting that the project highlights efficiency and progressiveness in technical design and equipment selection. According to the disclosed details, the actual installed capacity of the project will reach 59.918 MWp. The power station will install up to 96642 double-sided double glass monocrystalline silicon high-efficiency modules with a peak power of 620Wp. These modules can generate electricity using both front and back light, significantly improving power generation efficiency.

In terms of electrical structure, the project innovatively adopts a grouped matrix design. For every 3836.56kWp or 4175.08kWp photovoltaic module array, a box type transformer with a capacity of 3200kVA or 3500kVA will be equipped, and 10 string inverters with a rated capacity of 320kW or 350kW will be connected to form a complete photovoltaic power generation unit. The entire power station consists of 8 arrays with a rated capacity of 3.2MW and 7 arrays with a rated capacity of 3.5MW. The DC power generated by each array is converted into AC power through a string inverter, and then the voltage is increased to 35 kV through a dedicated double winding boosting transformer, and finally converged to the on-site switch station and connected to the power grid. This series of refined designs ensures the high efficiency and reliability of power station operation.

Hongyazi Township in Pingluo County is located in the light resource rich area of Ningxia. The implementation of this photovoltaic power generation project is an efficient utilization of high-quality natural resources in the local area. After the completion of the project, it is expected to provide a large amount of clean electricity to the power grid every year, equivalent to saving tens of thousands of tons of standard coal consumption, and significantly reducing the emissions of greenhouse gases and pollutants such as carbon dioxide and sulfur dioxide, with outstanding environmental and ecological benefits.
