Due to the expansion of the Xiangyang metropolitan area, the logistics demand growth rate in the northwest of Hubei Province leads the province. On May 20, 2026, the Chuanhua Hubei Northwest Smart Logistics Center project officially started construction in Fancheng District, Xiangyang City, with a total construction area of 32000 square meters. It is expected to be completed and delivered in October 2026. After the completion of the project, the total area of the center will be expanded to 95000 square meters, becoming the largest less than truckload logistics base in northwest Hubei.

65000 square meters less than truckload warehouse

The project has a less than truckload warehouse area of 65000 square meters, accounting for nearly 70% of the total area, and is currently the largest less than truckload logistics base in the northwest region of Hubei. By 2026, the daily freight throughput of Xiangyang Highway Port has exceeded 12000 tons. The landing of the Chuanhua Smart Logistics Center will further fill the gap in regional less than truckload distribution and form a radiating network covering southwestern Henan, southeastern Shaanxi, and northwestern Hubei.

As the largest and most comprehensive highway port in Xiangyang City, the project is expected to accommodate over 200 mainline routes after its commissioning, with a daily handling capacity of over 3000 tons of less than truckload cargo and serving more than 500 manufacturing and agricultural product circulation enterprises in the surrounding area.
