Under the dual opportunities of jointly building the the Belt and Road Initiative and green transformation of global energy, Chinese engineering enterprises are expanding their territory on the international energy construction stage with amazing speed and strength. Recently, CEEC and WIETC have successively reported good news, with business coverage ranging from upgrading the power grid in Southeast Asia to integrating photovoltaic and energy storage in West Africa. This demonstrates the outstanding capabilities and strong market competitiveness of Chinese enterprises in the global new energy industry chain, injecting green momentum into the energy security and low-carbon development of countries along the Belt and Road with solid actions.
CEEC deeply cultivates the clean energy market in Southeast Asia
The EPC general contracting project for the expansion of Budwo and Kushma substations in Nepal. The project has received a pre award letter from Nepal Electricity Authority, marking CEEC's further deepening in the field of upgrading Nepal's power grid, which will directly help improve the stability and transmission capacity of the local power grid.
Technical services for the 150 MW wind power project in Mondulkiri, Cambodia. This is a large-scale wind power project that Cambodia has focused on promoting in recent years. Yunnan Institute's technical service winning bid reflects China's technical strength in the wind power field, which has been highly recognized by the Southeast Asian market.

Technical services for the 30 MW photovoltaic project in Myitria, Myanmar. This project will continue to consolidate CEEC's advantageous position in the Southeast Asian photovoltaic market and provide Chinese technology solutions for optimizing Myanmar's energy structure.

The winning of the three countries' new energy project is an inevitable result of CEEC Yunnan Institute's long-term efforts in the South Asia and Southeast Asia markets, and the implementation of the high-quality development strategy of giving priority to international business. It also provides a diversified Chinese scheme for the power energy construction of countries along the the Belt and Road.
WIETC breaks the deadlock in West Africa and successfully wins the first photovoltaic+energy storage project
In West Africa, WIETC has also achieved a milestone breakthrough. The company has successfully won the bid for the EPC project of a 40MW photovoltaic power station and a 30MWh energy storage power station in Burkina Faso in collaboration with Far Eastern Energy Storage.
This project is located in the Koudougou area of Burkina Faso and is WIETC's first photovoltaic+energy storage integrated project. It marks the company's official entry into this high-tech and complex new energy sub sector, laying a solid foundation for its deep development in the regional market.

After the completion of the project, it will not only effectively utilize the abundant solar energy resources in the local area for power generation, but also smooth the power output through the supporting energy storage system, achieve peak shaving and valley filling, greatly improve the unstable power supply situation in Burkina Faso, optimize its energy structure, and provide a replicable and promotable demonstration model of solar energy storage for the energy transformation in West Africa. Keywords: the Belt and Road, the Belt and Road news
From China's comprehensive development in Southeast Asia to WIETC's breakthrough in light storage in West Africa, the overseas green footprint of Chinese companies is becoming increasingly clear and diverse. This is not only a victory in market development, but also a vivid manifestation of China's technology, standards, and system solutions winning global trust. As these projects turn from blueprints to reality, they will deliver inexhaustible clean power to the economic and social development of the host countries, and will leave a deep Chinese mark on the journey of jointly building the green the Belt and Road.Editor/Cheng Liting
