Recently, a large-scale photovoltaic power generation project in Wusu City, Tacheng Prefecture, Xinjiang has officially launched an open bidding for engineering general contracting (EPC), marking an important step forward in the construction of new energy in the region. The project plans to construct a photovoltaic power station with an installed capacity of 1 million kilowatts, with a total investment of approximately 2.63 billion yuan, and the funding source is self raised.

According to the bidding announcement, the project is located in Wusu City, Tacheng Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, and the bidder is Yancheng Maitan New Energy Development Co., Ltd. The main construction content of the project includes a 1 million kilowatt photovoltaic power generation system, supporting the construction of two booster stations and a transmission line approximately 30 kilometers long.

The scope of this bidding covers the entire process of engineering general contracting for the project, including design, project filing, access plan approval, equipment procurement, civil construction, installation and commissioning, completion acceptance, and handover to production. The bidding announcement clearly states that the project is divided into one section, with an estimated contract price of approximately RMB 2.63 billion. The tenderer reserves the right to adjust the construction scale.

The promotion of this project will help enhance the local clean energy supply capacity, promote energy structure optimization, and play a positive role in regional economic development and green transformation. As the bidding work progresses, the project is expected to further promote the coordinated development of the photovoltaic industry chain and the utilization of local renewable energy in subsequent construction.
