On January 23rd local time, the first batch of equipment for the Saudi PIF5 wind power project, the wind measurement tower, jointly contracted and constructed by China Energy Engineering International Group, Guangdong Thermal Power and Northwest Institute, was successfully shipped, marking a key breakthrough in the project's logistics work and officially entering the substantive execution stage from the early planning stage.
As the first batch of physical delivery materials for the project, the wind measurement tower equipment has the characteristics of "early start-up, high attention, and multiple coordination interfaces". In the face of challenges such as tight international shipping resources, unstable shipping schedules, close coupling between equipment shipment and on-site demand, and complex coordination of parallel operations by multiple units, the logistics team adheres to the management concept of "planning first, risk front", coordinates and promotes transportation scheme planning, node connection, and risk identification, tracks the implementation of the entire process, strengthens internal and external coordination, dynamically optimizes transportation arrangements, and ultimately ensures that equipment is shipped according to plan. Next, the project logistics team will continue to summarize experience, optimize processes, and provide more stable and efficient logistics support capabilities to fully serve the smooth achievement of project construction goals.
The Saudi PIF5 wind power project consists of the Stella 2GW wind power project and the Shakira 1GW wind power project, and is a core component of Saudi Arabia's "2030 Vision" new energy plan. It is currently in the stage of comprehensive acceleration.Editor/Bian Wenjun
