With the dust settled on a bidding process, the "vanguard" of a major water conservancy project in Beijing has officially taken office. In 2026, a key supporting project with a total investment of over 6.2 billion yuan - the construction of four roads for the relocation of Erdaohe Reservoir - has completed bidding. Beijing Chengjian Huasheng Transportation Construction Co., Ltd. has finally won the bid, paving the key way for the construction of the "highest dam in Beijing" in the future, and also marking a more specific and rapid implementation stage for the construction of the flood control safety network in the Beijing Tianjin Hebei region.

This relocation project is not just a simple road widening, but a comprehensive and complex transportation project that includes bridges, tunnels, and roads. The project includes 4 lines with a total mileage of about 19.864km, all of which are constructed according to the standards of second-class highway. The specific construction content includes comprehensive civil engineering projects such as roadbed and pavement, bridges, culverts, tunnels, and drainage protection. Among them, the G108 national highway realignment will build 10 new bridges and 2 tunnels; The G108 double track realignment will result in the construction of 5 new bridges and 4 tunnels; Multiple bridges and tunnels have also been planned for the realignment of Junhong Road and Hongnan Road. The estimated contract price for the entire project is approximately 1.34 billion yuan, with a planned total construction period of 690 days.
