The project is located in Shangyi County, Hebei Province, and is one of the third batch of large-scale wind and photovoltaic base key projects in China, with a planned total capacity of 500000 kilowatts. The successful grid connection of the first batch of wind turbines marks the entry of the project into the actual power generation stage. The project innovatively adopts the "one machine, one storage" deep integration mode, and is equipped with Goldwind Technology's GWH204-6.25MW DC coupled grid wind storage integrated machine with a total capacity of 150 megawatts, with a supporting energy storage system scale of 100MW/200MWh. Solving the problem of weak current network with grid type wind turbines
The power grid environment where the project is located is weak, with a minimum short-circuit ratio of only 1.4, belonging to a typical weak power grid area. Traditional wind turbines are prone to power rationing and disconnection risks in such environments. The Goldwind Technology grid type wind storage integrated machine applied in bulk this time has mature "isolated network operation" and "black start" capabilities, and can adapt to extreme weak current network environments with a minimum short-circuit ratio of 1.2. The core of its technology lies in achieving real-time voltage stabilization and grid stability through energy storage systems, enabling wind turbines to transform from "passively following grid frequency and voltage" to "actively building and maintaining grid stability", effectively resisting grid disturbances, and greatly improving grid reliability and power generation utilization under weak grid conditions.
