On January 29, 2026, the unveiling ceremony of the "General Secretary Xi Jinping Bookstore" was held at the World University of Economics and Diplomacy in Uzbekistan. Gao Xiang, member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and President of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and Safayev, First Vice Chairman of the Senate of the Ukrainian Supreme Council and President of the University of World Economics and Diplomacy, jointly unveiled the plaque for the library. Chinese Ambassador to Ukraine Yu Jun and others attended the ceremony.

The "General Secretary Xi Jinping Works Library" is jointly established by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and the University of World Economics and Diplomacy of Ukraine, providing more than 1500 books in Chinese and foreign languages, including important works of General Secretary Xi Jinping. It also opens up the database resources of the Chinese Philosophy and Social Sciences Literature Center, providing an important platform for Ukraine to deeply understand Xi Jinping's socialist ideology with Chinese characteristics in the new era and study Chinese style modernization.

The guests from both sides highly praised the significance of the establishment of the library in their speeches, and looked forward to deepening cooperation among research institutions, strengthening the alignment of development strategies and the exchange of governance experience, and contributing the strength of think tanks to building a closer China Ukraine community with a shared future.Editor/Bian Wenjun
