The China Pakistan Mining Full Value Chain Cooperation Forum, hosted by the All Pakistan Chinese Enterprises Association, was held on the 28th in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan.

The theme of this forum is "Mining Soars, Chain Builds the Future", aiming to promote the deep integration of the entire mining industry chain between the two countries. About 900 government officials, mining experts, and business representatives from both countries attended the meeting. Chinese and Pakistani companies signed multiple memorandums of understanding during the forum.

Pakistan's Minister of Planning, Development and Special Projects, Ahsan Iqbal, stated in his speech that China is a core strategic partner of Pakistan's mining industry. He pointed out that multiple cooperation projects between the two countries' enterprises have achieved outstanding results, and he looks forward to Chinese enterprises continuing to support the development of clean energy and high-end manufacturing in Pakistan.

Pakistan's Oil Minister Ali Pervaiz Malik stated that China's advanced experience in mineral exploration, smelting, and other fields has significantly enhanced Pakistan's mineral exports and energy security. Currently, Bafang is actively improving the mining investment environment, simplifying the approval process, and looking forward to deepening full value chain cooperation with China.

Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Jiang Zaidong said that the first mining themed forum between China and Pakistan, based on "full value chain" cooperation, is conducive to starting from a comprehensive perspective and striving to achieve success in development. It is suggested that enterprises from both sides promote cooperation in the spirit of benefiting national development, being friendly to the ecological environment, and friendly to the people in mining areas. At the same time, we hope that the Pakistani side can create a more favorable business environment, effectively coordinate development and security, and promote stable and far-reaching pragmatic cooperation between the two countries.

Wang Huihua, president of the All Pakistan Chinese Enterprises Association, said that through full value chain cooperation, the two sides can deeply integrate complementary advantages, promote cooperation from basic raw material mining to high value-added processing and industrial coordinated development, and achieve sustainable economic benefits.Editor/Yang Meiling
