Datang Group's e-commerce platform has released a bidding announcement, officially launching the bidding process for the construction and installation of the offshore booster station for the second phase of Datang Hainan Danzhou 1200MW offshore wind power project site.
This bidding is for the second site of the project, with a construction scale of 600MW, located in the Beibu Gulf area under the jurisdiction of Danzhou City, Hainan Province. As the heart of offshore wind farms, offshore booster stations are responsible for collecting and boosting the electrical energy generated by wind turbines, and then transmitting it to land through submarine cables. The bidding scope covers the entire process of construction, related equipment procurement, installation, commissioning, testing, and acceptance of the upper module of the offshore boosting station, which is the core link of the offshore main project.

According to the bidding documents, the planned construction period of the project is from March 20, 2026 to September 15, 2026, and the actual start date will be subject to the supervision notice. This marks that the project is about to enter the substantive stage of offshore construction after completing the preliminary preparations. Keywords: Wind Power News Network
