The first China Tajikistan multimodal transport pilot container train has successfully arrived in Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan. The class will depart from the Irkeshtam Port in Xinjiang on February 11, 2026, covering a total distance of 3500 kilometers and passing through Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.

This train is organized and shipped by Uzi Railway (Xinjiang) International Logistics Co., Ltd., a Sino Ukrainian joint venture, carrying a total of 8 standard containers, fully loaded with daily consumer goods and engineering machinery equipment produced in China. The opening of this new path has created a convenient and efficient freight channel for China Tajikistan trade cooperation.

Compared to traditional road transportation, this train mode has the advantages of large capacity and strong stability.
