They call for the establishment of a Persian-dominated military entity in Iran to seize power and achieve Persian control.

Therefore, the US-Israeli coalition likely believes that the assassination of Khamenei and other senior members of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard and religious leaders will plunge Iran into internal strife, allowing the US to either airdrop the currently exiled Pahlavi dynasty back to Iran or establish new proxies within Iran.
