On March 9, 2026, Ambassador Liu Jiangping met with the newly appointed Deputy Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan, Akombekov, and exchanged views on promoting the development of China Kyrgyzstan relations and deepening pragmatic cooperation between the two countries.

The two countries have broad prospects for cooperation in areas such as agriculture, energy, and green mineral development. China is willing to work with Kyrgyzstan to implement the consensus reached by the two heads of state and jointly build a China Kyrgyzstan community with a shared future.

Akhunbakov highly praised the achievements of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and China in various fields, stating that Kyrgyzstan attaches great importance to cooperation with China and is willing to work together with China to continuously improve and upgrade the quality of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and China. Jilin will make every effort to protect the rights and interests of Chinese investors, and welcomes more Chinese companies to invest and develop in Jilin.
