On May 6, 2026, Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Chang Hua was invited to visit Jeddah Islamic Port in Saudi Arabia, accompanied by Consul General Yang Yi.

Ambassador Chang met with Anini, Deputy Director of Western Port Operations at the Saudi Ports Authority.   Saudi ports play an important role in logistics support in the current region, and China is willing to deepen practical cooperation with Saudi Arabia in related fields. Anini stated that Saudi Arabia is willing to continue to fully support Chinese enterprises in expanding their business in Saudi Arabia, actively learn and draw on China's port operation experience and advanced technology, and promote the continuous improvement and upgrading of cooperation in various fields between the two countries.
