On the morning of May 13, 2026, Chongqing Sailis Super Factory welcomed a special "test driver". After visiting the automated production line, Tajikistan President Rahmon walked straight towards an exhibition car and sat in the driver's cab to experience it carefully. Faced with a highly intelligent manufacturing workshop, he stopped several times to inquire and clearly expressed his desire to personally test drive, creating a lively atmosphere on site. Subsequently, Rahmon transferred to Zongshen Industrial Park and showed a strong interest in the exhibited motorcycles, drones, and small agricultural machinery, gaining a detailed understanding of the company's overseas layout and production capacity.

Rahmon pointed out after the visit that the level of automation and intelligence in China's manufacturing industry is impressive. He emphasized to the accompanying delegation and representatives of Chinese enterprises that Tajikistan not only has resources, but also has a solid foundation to undertake industrial transfer. Tajikistan has abundant mineral resources such as aluminum and copper, as well as abundant young labor force, and is seeking to deeply connect with Chinese enterprises in the fields of automobile assembly, agricultural machinery, and general machinery manufacturing. This complementarity of resources and technology is seen as a key growth point for China Tajikistan manufacturing cooperation.keywords:Engineering infrastructure

This factory trip is not only a visit, but also an investment roadshow for Tajikistan to promote practical cooperation. In recent years, the economic and trade relations between China and Tajikistan have continued to heat up, and China has become Tajikistan's largest trading partner and the largest source of foreign investment. Data shows that the bilateral trade volume will reach 30.858 billion yuan in 2025, a year-on-year increase of 12.5%. Rahmon expressed that Tajikistan is willing to further deepen bilateral economic and trade exchanges, provide convenient conditions for Chinese enterprises, jointly explore the Central Asian market, and transform China's technological advantages and Tajikistan's resource endowment into tangible cooperation results.Editor/Yang Meiling
