On May 23, 2026, the groundbreaking ceremony of the Guizhou Mianxi Wind Farm project was held in Qiandongnan Prefecture. Guests including Liang Ji, Executive Director of RJGF, Wen Feng, Executive President, He Jiaying, Deputy General Manager of Jiangxi Tongji Construction Project Management Co., Ltd., Xing Qi, Deputy General Manager of China Energy Engineering Construction Group Co., Ltd., and leaders from relevant departments in Qiandongnan Prefecture attended to witness the event.

Currently, the total scale of computing power in Guizhou has exceeded 160 EFLOPS, with intelligent computing resources accounting for over 20% of the country's total. More than 40 data centers have been built or are under construction, firmly ranking among the top tier of intelligent computing in the country. The installed capacity of new energy in the province has exceeded 42 million kilowatts, and the integration of wind, solar and energy storage is accelerating. Under the deep intersection of East West Calculation and Dual Carbon Strategy, the landing of Mianxi Wind Farm is a vivid practice of computing and electricity synergy.

Nearly 200 million kilowatt hours of green electricity per year

The Mianxi Wind Farm is independently developed, declared, and invested by Runjian Corporation, with a total installed capacity of 100MW. It is the company's first wind power project in Guizhou and a landmark project in its transformation from a technical service provider to a green energy investor. Keywords: wind power, new energy projects

After the completion of the project, it is expected to generate 185 million kilowatt hours of electricity annually, which can meet the annual electricity demand of about 80000 households and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 100100 tons per year, equivalent to the annual carbon sequestration capacity of planting 5.5 million trees. The generated green electricity will be directly connected to the regional power grid, providing clean energy support for high energy consuming computing facilities such as surrounding data centers, and helping Guizhou build a benchmark for green computing power.Editor/Cheng Liting
