Envision Energy, a leading Chinese green technology company, plans to invest approximately US$215 million in the Aktobe region of Kazakhstan to build a 250MW wind power plant.

Recently, Aktobe Region Governor Askhat Shakharov met with a delegation led by Wei Wei, Chairman and Senior Vice President of Envision Energy's Western Region, to discuss the project's implementation in depth. Shakharov stated, "Developing renewable energy is one of the key priorities of Kazakhstan's national policy. This project is of strategic significance to the Aktobe region, as it will promote green energy development and the application of advanced technologies. The regional government will provide full support to ensure the project's smooth implementation."
The project is expected to create approximately 300 jobs during its construction and operation phases. The meeting discussed the project's current status, subsequent implementation phases, and coordination with government agencies and local authorities.

Envision Energy is a global leader in smart wind power, energy storage systems, and digital energy solutions. According to BloombergNEF data, the company ranked second globally in 2024 with 14.5GW of new installed capacity; a Wood Mackenzie report shows that Vision Energy's wind turbine orders reached a record 30.6GW in 2024.
