On May 28, 2026, Ambassador Zeng Jixin visited Abu Dhabi to investigate and research the Etihad Railway MBZ Station project, which was contracted by China Railway International, and expressed condolences to frontline builders.

Ambassador Zeng and his delegation went deep into the project site, conducted on-site inspections of the station construction situation, listened in detail to the project team's reports on the station design concept, engineering construction, green construction, localized management, and social responsibility fulfillment, and focused on understanding the integrated application of Chinese design, Chinese manufacturing, and Chinese equipment in the project. They highly praised the project construction effectiveness and accepted an interview from the Central Radio and Television Middle East Station.
