In the province of Santo Domingo de los Chachilas in Ecuador, a vital water supply artery that affects people's livelihoods is officially pulsing. Recently, the completion ceremony of the Santo Domingo water supply project undertaken by China Electric Power Construction Corporation attracted the attention of various sectors in the local area. Ecuadorian President Noroa personally witnessed this moment of benefiting people's livelihoods on the spot.

At the ceremony, President Novaya and his delegation went deep into the core area of the water treatment plant and transmission pipeline, carefully inspecting every step from water intake to purification. For a long time, the Santo Domingo region has faced significant water supply pressure. With the completion of this national key drinking water project, this dilemma has been fundamentally reversed. The project includes a water intake, a diversion pump station, a modern water treatment plant, and supporting water pipelines. It has now been successfully handed over and entered a stable operation phase. Clear and clean tap water flows into thousands of households through pipelines, providing more stable, safe, and clean domestic water for about 700000 residents, significantly improving the local public health level.
