The western chemical industry map is being rewritten with a heavy investment of 73 billion yuan. The Guizhou Bijie Phosphorus Coal Chemical Integration Project has officially started construction, with the first air separation unit having an oxygen production capacity of 40000 Nm ³/h. It adopts a fully packed tower design and is equipped with three air compressors for variable frequency conveying technology, laying a breathing foundation for the entire chemical city. This is not an ordinary capacity expansion, but a crucial turning point for Southwest phosphorus coal resources from selling raw materials to producing materials.

Phase I anchoring battery core material

The project will be promoted in three phases. The first phase, as a leading project, will directly target the power battery track - the production capacity of 500000 tons of iron phosphate and 250000 tons of lithium iron phosphate will be simultaneously implemented, with supporting coking equipment to ensure self-sufficiency in raw materials. The product covers key materials for batteries such as lithium iron phosphate and DMC, accurately matching the explosive demand for energy storage and power batteries. The air separation unit covers the entire system of air compression, pre cooling, and distillation, and is the basic guarantee for the stable operation of subsequent chemical plants.

Economic account from selling minerals to selling materials

In the past, Guizhou's phosphate coal was mainly exported as raw ore and primary products, with low added value and short industrial chain. This project thoroughly connects the entire chain of phosphorus coal resources, basic chemical industry, and new energy materials, achieving on-site conversion and value-added. It is expected to create over 14000 job opportunities, contribute billions of dollars in tax revenue, and promote the upgrading of local industrial systems from resource dependent to material driven.
