Recently, with a construction order, the long-awaited Wanjie Jingfeng Qinghai Intelligent Computing Center project has officially started construction. The roar of on-site machines broke the silence of the plateau and also marked the transition of China's highest altitude and Qinghai's first national level intelligent computing center from blueprint to reality. This is not only a handshake between Jiangsu and Qinghai across mountains and seas, but also a deep collision between the technological advantages of the east and the energy endowment of the west.

Suqing collaborates to build computing power equipment

The project is fully funded by Jiangsu Junchuang Investment Co., Ltd. in China, with a total investment of up to 4 billion yuan. The implementation of the project cannot be separated from the continuous efforts of the fifth and sixth batches of Yangzhou Youth Assistance Work Groups, which successfully introduced funds and technology from developed eastern regions into the plateau, becoming a benchmark project for Su Qing counterpart support and cooperation.

Empowering the digital economy with 10000 computing power

The center plans to deploy 9338 standard racks, with a total capacity of 11000P. Leveraging advanced green computing technology, the project will have an annual electricity consumption of approximately 243 million kilowatt hours after completion, providing full stack artificial intelligence computing services for western China and filling the gap in high-end computing power in the region. Anchor node sprint for full production

The construction team will overcome the challenges of high-altitude climate and plan to complete the main civil engineering and closed construction before November 2026, and switch to indoor operations during the winter break. This large intelligent computing center is expected to be fully illuminated and put into commercial operation by July 2027.Editor/Yang beihua
