In Paris in 2026, under the spotlight of VivaTech, a game about the future is unfolding. The wave of artificial intelligence is devouring power resources at an unprecedented speed, and as the scale of data centers jumps from megawatts to gigawatts, traditional power grids appear to be struggling. At this moment, Envision from China stood at the center of the stage, showcasing its ambition and strength as the pioneer of AI power systems to Europe and even the world.

Envision Chairman Zhang Lei bluntly stated that in the face of the global computing storm, traditional power grids are no longer able to bear the weight of change. Envision chooses to return to the place where dreams began - the Gobi Desert, attempting to turn this barren land into a cradle for nurturing intelligent civilization. With the official release of the Mission Gobi program, a grand goal has been made public: by 2030, a green AI computing center with a total scale of 5GW will be built in the global Gobi desert areas, creating a stable, green, and economical new generation infrastructure for the AI era.

In order to solve the three major challenges of power access, energy efficiency conversion, and cost control faced by AI infrastructure, Envision has built a three in one AI power system, attempting to redefine the relationship between energy and computing power.

Physical Artificial Intelligence

This is the intelligent brain of the system. Envision uses the Tianji Meteorological Big Model to make high-precision predictions on the output of new energy sources such as wind and light, making uncontrollable natural resources predictable. At the same time, relying on the Tianshu Energy Large Model, real-time optimization of power generation, energy storage, load, and computing power demand is carried out. This digital mapping of the physical world ensures that every kilowatt hour of electricity can be utilized most efficiently at the most appropriate time.

intelligent hub

This is the neural network of the system. The EnOS intelligent IoT operating system developed by Farview has connected hundreds of millions of smart devices. It is like an invisible conductor, covering wind power, photovoltaics, energy storage, transformers, hydrogen electrolysis tanks, and even computing power facilities, achieving real-time collaboration in the five dimensions of source, grid, storage, load, and computing, ensuring the efficient operation of the entire system.

Bottom layer architecture

This is the steel and iron backbone of the system. Through advanced technologies such as integrated wind solar energy storage control, high-voltage direct current transmission, and solid-state transformers, Envision has significantly increased power density and reduced energy loss. This end-to-end architecture design supports the stable operation of AI data centers under extremely high load densities, seamlessly transforming green electricity into intelligent computing power.

At present, Envision's concept is no longer just on paper, but has taken root on the land of China. In Chifeng, Inner Mongolia, the world's first collaborative system level sample for computing and electronics has already taken shape. Relying on a 2GW fully renewable energy power system, wind, solar, storage, hydrogen, and computing power have achieved dynamic real-time collaboration here. In Ulanqab, the Envision Star River Base, as the flagship model of the Mission Gobi program, is rising from the ground. This gigawatt level super project will lay a solid foundation for the AI takeoff in China and even the world. Envision is partnering with global partners to launch this mature green solution worldwide, fully unleashing the productivity of green intelligence.Editor/Yang Meiling
