On June 21, 2026, China's first power transmission rights transaction was officially launched. Relying on the Yunxiao DC channel, Anhui Green Power has crossed the two major power grids and transmitted to Guangdong with the transmission right "pass". A total of 113 market entities from Anhui and Guangdong participated in this transaction, with a transaction volume exceeding 20 million kilowatt hours. Wang Haichao, Deputy General Manager of Anhui Electric Power Trading Center, stated that the market model for this transaction has shifted from waiting for orders within the province to competing for orders outside the province. A total of 68 new energy enterprises and 1 virtual power plant have applied in Anhui, with an intended electricity output of 220 million kilowatt hours. Locking the transmission rights to cross regional transmission channels enables precise matching of green power supply and demand, promoting the cross provincial circulation of clean energy.
