After years of deepening its presence in the infrastructure market of Bangladesh, China Road and Bridge Corporation  has once again brought good news. Its local office has successively won two traffic renovation projects. Upon completion, the upgrading of these two roads will comprehensively improve the country's road network layout and drive steady economic and trade growth along the routes.

The bridge has been widened, opening up the east-west thoroughfare

The Jamanah Bridge deck widening and upgrading project is located in Tangail City, northwest of Dhaka, serving as a crucial passage connecting the eastern and western regions of Bangladesh. The project entails the demolition of abandoned railways and the expansion of the bridge and its supporting roads to four lanes. Upon completion, it will significantly enhance traffic efficiency, accelerate connectivity between the east and the west, and stimulate economic development along the route.

Upgrading and reconstructing the road network in Northeast China

The second section of the Silhet-Shuila Highway Reconstruction and Expansion Project is located in the northeastern city of Silhet, with a total length of 18 kilometers. After reconstruction, the two lanes will be upgraded to four lanes, strengthening the transportation connection at border ports and boosting the economic development of the northeastern region.Editor/Min Jing
