From the pure air transport capacity to the mobile ark that protects life, Chinese domestic aircraft are redefining the temperature of people's livelihood along the the Belt and Road. When the C909 debuted in Central Asia as an airborne diagnostic and treatment platform, it not only carried the technological strength of the aviation industry, but also a genuine practice of the human health community. COMAC has deeply embedded multiple derivative aircraft models into emergency rescue and cross-border medical cooperation, extending the Silk Road spirit in the cloud - this is not only an expansion of the overseas application scenarios of domestic commercial aircraft, but also a footnote to the era of China's aviation power being people-oriented and working together with neighbors.

On July 2, 2026, the 21st China Kazakhstan Commodity Exhibition officially opened in Almaty, Kazakhstan. COMAC made its debut in the emergency mining equipment section of the exhibition, and the C909 medical aircraft landed at Almaty Airport for static display. At the same time, a 1:50 specification C909 fire extinguisher model was exhibited on site, comprehensively showcasing multiple derivative products of the model and its practical application value in aviation medical, emergency rescue, and dispatch communication fields.

The model is suitable for multiple rescue scenarios

The C909 medical aircraft is built based on the basic model transformation, and the cabin space can be flexibly adjusted according to needs to adapt to various rescue scenarios such as accompanying medical teams, free clinics in remote areas, and patient transportation. The medical machine showcased this time is a five sense diagnosis and treatment aerial hospital jointly built by COMAC and Fudan Ear, Nose and Throat Hospital. It is equipped with a complete set of intelligent ophthalmic diagnosis and treatment equipment, which can complete the entire process of screening, filming, surgery, and vision rehabilitation services in the air, fully demonstrating the excellent comprehensive performance and medical service strength of the machine.

Establishing a collaborative channel for air health

At the exhibition site, the "Air Health Silk Road" facial diagnosis and treatment aircraft Central Asia tour event was launched simultaneously. The project relies on the aerial diagnosis and treatment platform to deepen long-term cooperation between China and Central Asian countries in the fields of clinical diagnosis and treatment of facial features, medical teaching and research, scientific research innovation, and emergency response, broaden the overseas landing channels of domestic aviation medical equipment, and help build a human health community.
