The Red River surges, quietly lifting up a brand new skyline of the Indochinese Peninsula. Amidst the booming urbanization of Vietnam, an industrial force from China has crossed mountains and seas, not rushing to lay out a grand blueprint, but instead bending down to break through the situation. From filling the gap in high-end building materials to clearing cross-border procedures, they have poured a bridge of trust across mountains and seas between bricks, tiles, and data.

Relying on the economic and trade dividends of RCEP region and seizing the opportunity of urbanization construction in Vietnam, Jin Guofu, President of ASEAN 10+6 International Trade Service Platform, led a team to Vietnam to carry out business docking, negotiate large-scale construction projects with local enterprise representatives, and smooth the two-way cooperation channel between China and Vietnam's infrastructure industry.
Vietnam raises pain points in infrastructure development
The atmosphere of the discussion and exchange was good, and Vietnamese companies introduced local architectural planning, construction supporting needs, industry support policies, and market prospects to the delegation. At the end of the meeting, both sides exchanged gifts to enhance mutual trust and lay the foundation for further in-depth cooperation. Both parties have conducted comprehensive discussions on the difficulties of project implementation and long-term industrial layout. The Vietnamese side stated that local urban renewal and industrial park expansion projects continue to increase, but there is a shortage of high-end local building materials, complex cross-border engineering procedures, and insufficient professional construction management capabilities. It is urgent to introduce complete domestic industrial chain resources.

Launch a full chain cooperation plan
Jin Guofu proposes an integrated cooperation strategy based on the advantages of the platform's multilateral trade services: relying on the complete service system of the platform, delivering cost-effective building materials, standardized construction technology, and professional management teams to Vietnamese projects; One stop processing of cross-border customs declaration, international logistics, foreign trade compliance settlement and other issues related to building materials; Starting from this construction project, we will continue to explore infrastructure markets such as transportation, industrial parks, and livelihood projects, and create a demonstration project for Sino Vietnamese infrastructure cooperation. Establishing a long-term bilateral cooperation mechanism
Jin Guofu stated that infrastructure connectivity is key to ASEAN integration, as China and Vietnam are geographically close and have complementary industries, providing ample space for infrastructure cooperation. The platform will leverage its resource hub advantages to assist domestic building materials and engineering technology in exploring overseas markets, while also helping Vietnam upgrade its infrastructure industry and promote regional economic and trade cooperation. Both parties have agreed to establish a special working group to refine cooperation details, streamline cross-border implementation processes, accelerate cooperation implementation, and rely on infrastructure cooperation to promote the sustainable development of bilateral trade between China and Vietnam.Editor/Gong Ziwei
