On July 3, 2026, the Guizhou Low altitude Application Scenario Science and Technology Innovation Center was officially put into operation in Sanma Industrial Park, Yunyan District, Guiyang. This is the core carrier for promoting the industrialization of mountain low altitude economy in the local area. The base is fully invested and independently operated by Guizhou Jifeng Technology, relying on the existing big data and intelligent manufacturing industry foundation of the park. It focuses on the development path of low altitude science and education integration, science and technology innovation and cultural tourism empowerment, and industrial ecological incubation.

Full chain service adapted to meet the unique needs of mountainous areas

Unlike ordinary low altitude industrial parks, this base has been targeting the special needs of Guizhou's karst mountainous terrain since the planning stage, without directly copying the general model of plain areas.

The industrial sector focuses on five core scenarios: low altitude logistics, mountain emergency rescue, agricultural and forestry plant protection, industrial inspection, and mountain tourism, and aims to incubate market entities that are adapted to local terrain. The R&D department specializes in tackling the technical challenges of low altitude flight in mountainous areas, customizing practical solutions and supporting courses that are suitable for complex terrains. The base is equipped with compliant airspace and professional venues, which can simultaneously carry out standardized real-life training, vocational skills certification, science and technology innovation competitions, and low altitude light and shadow performances, achieving a complete integration of learning, training, competition, and application.

Three year action plan to safeguard the rapid growth of the industry

According to the three-year action plan for high-quality development of Guizhou's low altitude economy, a low altitude economic development pattern with complete facilities and diverse scenarios will be established by 2027. In the next three years, the province will continue to improve infrastructure such as universal airports and unmanned aerial vehicle take-off and landing sites, open low altitude tourism and short distance transportation routes, and promote low altitude logistics and emergency rescue applications in more scenarios.
