The layout of the domestic shared energy storage industry continues to accelerate, with top energy companies intensively landing high-quality energy storage projects. After the successful grid connection of a large-scale energy storage power station in Shanxi, Yichu Shuzhi has once again settled in South China and reached a heavyweight cooperation with Lipu City, injecting new vitality into the upgrading of the local new energy industry.

Project landing in Lipu

On July 8, 2026, the People's Government of Lipu City signed a cooperation project for energy storage power stations with Shenzhen Yichu Shuzhi Energy Group. The total investment of this project is about 800 million yuan, located within a three kilometer radius of the 220kV Hengxiang substation in Dumo Town, covering an area of about 60 acres. It is planned to construct a 200MW/800MWh independent shared energy storage power station, supporting the construction of a 220KV booster station and a complete set of ancillary facilities. The project is scheduled to be completed and put into operation in August 2027. After the completion of the project, it will effectively optimize the peak shaving capacity of the regional power grid and enhance the stability of power supply.

Strong corporate strength

Yichu Shuzhi is a new energy technology enterprise invested by Ganfeng Lithium, focusing on the development and operation of grid side energy storage power stations, with an efficient and stable layout rhythm. On July 6, 2026, the Shanxi Datong 400MW/800MWh energy storage power station invested and built by the enterprise was successfully connected to the grid, breaking the local record for grid connected capacity of similar energy storage projects.
