On July 24, 2026, Beijing time, the AVIC Infrared 1 satellite was successfully launched into orbit aboard the Lijian-1 Yao-15 carrier rocket, marking the completion of the deployment of the third satellite network in the Obsidian constellation. Xinghuo Chuanming is the first commercial aerospace enterprise in China that focuses on infrared satellite constellations. In this mission, the satellite was equipped with CANGYU SPACE's independently developed relay user terminal for the first time.

Satellite data relay is a key link in achieving all-weather and near real-time transmission of remote sensing data. The relay user terminal carried this time is the core product developed by CANGYU SPACE for remote sensing satellite needs. The overall weight is ≤ 4kg, the forward speed is 2kbps-16kbps, and the return speed is 16kbps-128kbps. It has the ability to receive forward remote control and return data. Through the Cangyu high orbit relay satellite, user satellites can achieve data forwarding without waiting for ground stations to transit, compressing the return time of infrared remote sensing information from several hours to minutes, effectively supporting the business needs of high response time.

In the future, CANGYU SPACE will continue to deeply cultivate the field of space-based information services. At present, the company has signed cooperation agreements with multiple commercial aerospace companies and plans to complete the installation of more than 200 sets of relay user terminals between 2026 and 2027. The company will work together with industry partners to promote the upgrading of commercial aerospace measurement, control, and data transmission capabilities, providing more efficient and reliable aerospace information services for low orbit spacecraft, rockets, drones, and other fields.Editor/Gong Ziwei
