On July 21, Guangxi Yuchai Machinery Group Co., Ltd. and ZTE Corporation signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Yulin.

Under the strategic agreement, both parties will leverage their three core strengths—"power manufacturing, digital infrastructure, and globalized layout"—to initiate in-depth cooperation in areas such as diesel generator sets for computing data centers. Starting with key sectors, they will progressively build a comprehensive strategic partnership and jointly expand both domestic and international markets.

The signing of this agreement coincides with a critical juncture marked by explosive growth in AI computing power and surging demand for backup power in data centers. With its reliable and stable performance, Yuchai's high-power generator sets have already established a leading advantage in the data center sector, while ZTE boasts extensive scenario resources and technical capabilities in data center construction. By collaborating on computing power data centers, both parties will drive the scaled application of Yuchai's generator sets in the computing infrastructure track and enhance ZTE's market position and brand influence.Editor/Yang Beihua
