Super project officially starts construction

Recently, Hangjin Banner in Inner Mongolia welcomed the good news of major industrial landing. The large-scale solid waste resource utilization and source network load storage integration project of Huineng Group has successfully started construction in the Duguitala Industrial Park of Hangjin Economic Development Zone. The total investment of this project is as high as 69.6 billion yuan, which is a core benchmark project supporting local economic development and will inject strong impetus into the green and high-quality development of the region.

Green energy system innovation empowers

The core advantage of this project is to build a large-scale off grid source grid load storage integrated system, synchronously plan and construct 7 million kilowatts of new energy installed capacity, including 6 million kilowatts of wind power and 1 million kilowatts of photovoltaic power. Relying on the wind solar multi energy complementary mode, a new green energy supply system will be constructed to achieve the innovation of energy utilization mode. After the completion of the project, 6 million tons of industrial solid waste such as coal gangue and fly ash can be disposed of annually, and 2 million tons of high-end aluminum silicon and silicon aluminum titanium alloy products can be produced annually, efficiently activating industrial solid waste resources and filling the gap in Inner Mongolia's high-end alloy manufacturing industry. Multidimensional Value Helps Development

This project has extremely high strategic and socio-economic benefits. After being put into operation, it can replace millions of tons of bauxite resources annually, reduce China's dependence on bauxite imports by 8%, and strengthen the national mineral resource security barrier. At the economic and livelihood level, the annual industrial output value of the project can reach 32 billion yuan, with an average annual tax payment of 4.5 billion yuan, providing over 9000 job opportunities. At the same time, the project will create an integrated green circular industrial chain of solid waste utilization, clean energy, and high-end manufacturing, helping local industries to transform and upgrade.
