The wind in the Pamir Plateau has stirred up a new logistics game of westward opening. Shenzhen Port Group has settled in Pakistan and established a two-way overseas warehouse to connect the trade routes between Kashgar and Lahore. This warehousing link spanning inland and South Asia is shifting the flow of goods in the China Pakistan Economic Corridor from transit to agglomeration.

Recently, KAZHUANGBAO Company, a subsidiary of Shenzhen Port Group, and Pakistan Huaxing Trading Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement for a two-way overseas warehouse between China and Pakistan in Kashgar, Xinjiang. The first Pakistani overseas warehouse of Shenzhen Port Group was officially launched, laying a solid foundation for building a cross-border warehousing and logistics channel connecting China and Pakistan and radiating to South Asia. It is also an important measure for enterprises to layout international logistics channels from home to Central Asia, West Asia and Europe, and deeply participate in the joint construction of the the Belt and Road.

Jointly build a bidirectional warehousing hub
Based on the advantages of Kashgar's westward opening location and Lahore's logistics hub in Pakistan, both sides will establish overseas warehouses and create a cargo distribution and stocking base. After the operation of the overseas warehouse, it can provide integrated warehousing and distribution logistics services for foreign trade and cross-border e-commerce enterprises in China, Pakistan, and South Asia, compress the delivery time of exported goods, reduce cross-border logistics expenses, and improve customs clearance efficiency and market response speed. Based on the national strategy of opening up to the west, Shenzhen Port Group will continue to improve the overseas warehouse network in Central Asia and South Asia, promote the two-way circulation of goods in all countries, enable regional economic and trade exchanges, and promote the high-quality development of the the Belt and Road.Editor/Gong Ziwei
