The transaction scale has reached a new high
On July 30, 2026, the North China Branch of State Grid Corporation of China released data showing that the amount of green electricity traded between Beijing Tianjin Hebei provinces in the first half of this year exceeded 30 billion kilowatt hours for the first time, reaching 31.2 billion kilowatt hours, a year-on-year increase of 40%. The regional market operates normally and efficiently, while the inter provincial market opens continuously on natural days, and trading vitality continues to be released. In the first half of the year, a total of 2550 users in the Beijing Tianjin Hebei region participated in inter provincial green power trading, with a trading volume of 20.9 billion kilowatt hours, exceeding the total trading volume for the whole year of 2025. The long-term trading model has also achieved significant results, with regional long-term green electricity trading opening regularly on a monthly basis. This year, the long-term green electricity trading volume between Beijing Tianjin Hebei Province reached 9 billion kilowatt hours, a significant increase of 230% year-on-year, providing stable energy cooperation guarantees for market entities.

Data shows that in the first half of the year, the trading volume of green electricity in Beijing reached 20.3 billion kilowatt hours, breaking through 20 billion kilowatt hours for the first time, and the scale of market-oriented green electricity trading surpassed that of thermal power trading for the first time.
