The UAE government has officially launched the world's first intelligent AI project that fully covers the entire government system. The goal of this plan is to transform 50% of government departments, services, and operations into AI driven models within the next two years. From procurement, tax auditing to customer service, the first batch of AI intelligent agents have been put into operation, and the UAE is moving towards an AI driven government at an astonishing speed.

Comprehensive promotion of the five major tracks
The intelligent AI project covers five major tracks: operations and institutional support, government strategic work, government services, technology and data, capacity building, and training. Omar Sultan Olama, the UAE Minister of Artificial Intelligence, stated that this project is the world's first comprehensive plan covering the entire government system, aimed at promoting the adoption of intelligent AI technology within the government. Relevant officials are working on building the technology and data infrastructure needed to achieve the transformation, with the participation of various government agencies to accelerate the construction of technology and data systems required to support the transformation. The goal is to transform 50% of government departments, operations, and services within the next two years.

Federal Unified Technology Platform
Officials reviewed a federal intelligent agent AI technology platform called FedAI. This platform will provide a unified technological infrastructure for federal government agencies to develop and adopt intelligent AI solutions. Through the national AI gateway, various government agencies can access multiple AI platforms and manage related applications and services through a unified and secure portal. The system also allows government agencies to use commercial AI models and open-source models hosted within sovereign infrastructure, while new models can continue to be added in the future. Classification evaluation of security governance
The seminar also discussed mechanisms for classifying and evaluating intelligent AI systems. A self-assessment mechanism based on technical and operational standards will help determine whether relevant systems meet the requirements of intelligent AI. This approach helps to unify implementation standards within the government, strengthen governance, and support the safe and responsible use of AI. At the seminar, more than ten cases of technology companies supporting transformation were showcased. The intelligent AI project is part of the UAE government's 4.0 process, aimed at improving government performance, accelerating decision-making speed, providing more efficient services, and further consolidating the UAE's position in AI driven government development.Editor/Gao Xue
