On August 17, 2026, Rongjie Energy officially announced that it had signed a framework cooperation agreement for 4GWh lithium iron phosphate battery cells with Indian energy storage integrator Lineage Power for the year 2027. As soon as the news came out, the industry's attention once again focused on this rapidly rising energy storage company.

From 3GWh to 7GWh

Turning back to June 28, 2026, Rongjie Energy and Lineage Power reached their first cooperation and signed a 3GWh lithium iron phosphate battery cell procurement agreement, agreeing to supply 314Ah battery cells and supporting accessories, covering pricing, quality specifications, quality assurance, and delivery rhythm, and incorporating multiple terms such as joint quality control, system integration technology collaboration, and supply chain transparency. Lineage Power Chairman Venugopal Rao Maddisetty commented at the time that this signing is a milestone in the company's energy storage development process. Rongjie Energy's comprehensive capabilities in manufacturing, technological innovation, and quality control make it a trusted supply chain partner for renewable energy development in South Asia.

In less than two months, the two parties signed another contract, expanding the cooperation scale from 3GWh to 7GWh in one fell swoop. The landing of two consecutive framework orders not only confirms the smooth progress of the first cooperation, but also reflects the rapid warming of strategic mutual trust between the two sides.

The newly signed framework agreement, based on the preliminary demand plan for Lineage Power's 2027 energy storage project, agrees to purchase a total of 4GWh of 314Ah and 588Ah lithium iron phosphate batteries, which will be mainly used in large-scale energy storage and industrial and commercial energy storage project scenarios.

These two battery cells are currently the main energy storage products of Rongjie Energy, with high safety and long cycle life characteristics, which can match the strict performance requirements of large-scale energy storage projects. The agreement also clarifies core terms such as product specifications, quality standards, and delivery plans, providing a clear execution path for subsequent business implementation and consolidating a stable and mutually beneficial long-term cooperation foundation between both parties.

From a single specification to parallel supply of two main products, Rongjie Energy is responding to the diversified project needs of overseas customers with a more complete product matrix.
